Hi Hugh, George, Gill and Graeme, It looked like fun playing the vikings! Where was the castle you were standing near? We hope your travelling is going really well. From Room 9 and 10
Hello Rooms 9 and 10 - this was on the south eastern tip of Sweden, right on the coast. A viking village had been re-created as an open air museum. It was lots of fun looking in the different buildings and understanding what life would have been like 800 years ago. See you next week, George, Hugh, Gill & Graeme
Hi there to the Nicoll crew I've just been checking out all the great spots you've been visiting and yes.....I am extremely jealous! Loved the viking dress ups! I don't think I have a viking wig! Now the weather looks pretty good over there. I just need to know boys...do the cows 'moo'in different languages???Also Gil, what are the delicacies that go with cappucino over there? surely Lemon tart would be Worldwide! I loved the shot of the Garden in France Graeme. I'm inspired to do a couple of my box hedges! Isn't that amazin all of the Wind towers.....I wonder if there was a lot of fuss with those?? Mmmm??? Hehehehe
"You distract him Hugh, and I'll sneak up behind"... good to see some brotherly cooperation to tackle the dastardedly viking villan! :) Sooooo looking forward to hearing more about your adventures - but will miss my online updates too! Talk to you soon! A. xx
Together with my wife I manage a dairy and dairy-beef enterprise at Fish Creek in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. We run a crossbred herd with a strong focus on pasture utilisation.
Nuffield Australia have awarded me a 2010 Nuffield Scholarship, this blog is a photo journal of my Nuffield adventures.
Established in 1947, in the UK, the Nuffield program resulted from a bequest from William Morris (later to become Lord Nuffield) of the Morris car company.
Nuffield Scholarships were awarded to 18 Australian Primary Producers in 2010. The scholarship program provides leading primary producers with the opportunity to travel overseas to increase their general knowledge of global agricultural issues and to gain skills to benefit their industry and business.
What a brillaint way to learn about the vikings...dress up and become one!Have fun! The Duckies
