This is my welcoming party at the front gate.
Looks like someone is trying to make a point that the farms management has improved over the last 6 weeks.
I do remember being told at Uni that the best manager's are those who make themselves redundant!
Great photo! And yes, Gill and the team have done a fabulous job! Welcome home - thanks for sharing your adventures with us along the way. Now looking forward to Part 2! :)
Together with my wife I manage a dairy and dairy-beef enterprise at Fish Creek in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. We run a crossbred herd with a strong focus on pasture utilisation.
Nuffield Australia have awarded me a 2010 Nuffield Scholarship, this blog is a photo journal of my Nuffield adventures.
Established in 1947, in the UK, the Nuffield program resulted from a bequest from William Morris (later to become Lord Nuffield) of the Morris car company.
Nuffield Scholarships were awarded to 18 Australian Primary Producers in 2010. The scholarship program provides leading primary producers with the opportunity to travel overseas to increase their general knowledge of global agricultural issues and to gain skills to benefit their industry and business.
